7/18/10 - CA State XC Mt. Bike Race Series - 2010
Congratulations to Mike Farkas for placing 5th overall in the California State XC Mt. Bike Race Series in the Cat 2, 35-39 class.
7/4/10 - SROP 4th of July Ride/Race - 2010
Congratulations to participating Descenders for finishing the 50 mile dangerous fast pace loop at the annual 4th of July ride. Congratulations to Oleg for finishing in the lead group of 8 riders. Well Done!
6/19/10 - Palomar Challenge - 2010
Congratulations to Drew Peterson for placing 1st overall with a time of 44:56 (new record) in the Palomar
Challenge. Congratulations to Dave Earnst for placing 4th in his class. Great job Descenders!
6/4/10 - 6/10/06 - Monster Climb IV - 2010
The Descenders conquered the E. Sierras during the 4th annual Monster Climb Trip. 178 miles with over 20,000' of ascent were ridden during the 3 day event in temperatures that exceeded 100 degrees!
4/24/10 - 2010 Alpine Challenge
Congratulations to all the Descenders that rode in the Alpine Challenge - 72 miles and 7000' of ascent. The Descenders led the way from start to finish.
4/10/10 - 2010 Omnium Race
Congratulations to fellow Descender Dave V. for placing 7th (Cat 5) in the Omnium.
4/10/10 - 2010 Julian Death March
Congratulations to fellow descenders Arlyn, Mike H. and Sam for finishing the Julian Death March (JDM). Suffering through 86 miles and 12,000' of ascent is impressive.
2/28/10 - Sagebrush US Cup West Race
Congratulations to fellow Descender Sam for placing 2nd in the Cat 2 Single Speed category with a time of 1:43:54.
2/22/10 - Crit Success!
Congratulations to fellow Descender Logan for placing 3rd in the Cat 4 race at Imperial on 2/20, and placing 7th on 2/21 in a field of 90+ in the Cat 4 race at Dominguez Hills.
2/6 and 2/7 - Boulevard Race and the Red Trolley Classic
Congratulations to the Descenders that braved the weather and rode in the harsh conditions at the Boulevard Race. Congratulations to fellow Descender and SDSU team rider Logan placing 6th and 3rd in back to back races!
1/16/10 - Descenders Win - 1st and 4th in the Stagecoach Century TTT!
Congratulations Team W finishing in 1st place and The A Team finishing in 4th. Team W finished with a blazing time of 4hrs and 49 minutes to win the event.
